Anthony W. (Tony) Kellner, 79, of Auburn passed away Thursday, February 26th, at Geisinger St. Luke's Orwigsburg.
Tony was born in Coaldale, Pa. on November 13, 1946, a son of the late Irene (Demyanovich) and George Kellner.
He was the husband of Rebecca Ann (Diefenderfer) Kellner. They were married on September 30th, 1967.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Professionally, Tony was a dedicated pipe fitter and welder who took great pride in his work. Beyond his trade, he was widely known as an incredibly gifted mechanic and the owner of Kellner Motorsports. Friends and neighbors knew they could always rely on him to fix just about anything, and he was generous with his time and skills.
Outside of work, Tony enjoyed precision shooting, listening to music, and watching movies. Whether he was working with his hands, driving fast on just about anything with wheels, enjoying his favorite songs or movies. As a child he jumped down the stairs thinking he was Superman and continued to live his life as if there were nothing he couldn’t do. And he was usually right.
In addition to Rebecca, his wife of 60 years, Tony is survived by two daughters, Kellie, wife of William Kuttrubis and Kattrina Kellner, companion of Brian Koukol,
Two granddaughters Zoe Fessler and Portia Fessler, brother Kevin Kellner
and his best friend Wilson, the German wired haired Pointer.
Services are private and entrusted to the Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Orwigsburg.
